Yes its a Lotus, made in the Ford factory like all mark 2's.
The chassis number is BA 91 JJ 78430
It has the big valve Lotus engine and runs beautifully!
Gearbox is as smooth as silk, the general drive is fantastic, the sound is reminiscent of all the 60s and early 70s race/rally cars, the engine really comes to life after 4000 revs.
The shell is very solid, no nasty under seal or welding to be seen.
Interior is very good, bit of black mastic on the passenger side dash top, despite this minor imperfection its a very nice place to sit.
The paint is also fantastic, any mark or blemish is being addressed in my brothers workshop presently so the car will be fully valeted and immaculate for collection.
I have the original wheels in very good condition with the chrome caps and as you can see a very nice set of minilites with excellent tyres.
There are no annoying issues with this car in any way, the heater is brilliant too, which is very important in this weather!
Several spares which come with the car include a steering rack, chrome trim, a whole back axle and several other miscellaneous parts.
Its a 1 owner car from Ireland, I dont have any history before this unfortunately.
I hold the logbook and can put a full UK MOT on her for the new owner at the cost of the certificate.
The logbook is irish, this is not an issue and can be used to apply for a UK V5 once Motd. Admin fee to the dvla is £25, there are no other costs.
I will not register in the UK as I know there will be much interest from Ireland.
