Unfortunately for us the time has come to sell Bertie. We have many happy memories from wonderful trips to the seaside, lakes and peak district and Bertie will be missed greatly. Our circumstances have changed from a carefree lifestyle to new responsibilities of a young family.
Bertie is orange and cream as you can see, he has had a full fit out of matching orange and cream units in the interior. There is a 3/4 rock & roll bed and buddy seat. The units that have been fitted have space for a fridge and camping stoves. There is a brand new leisure battery too. A fully functioning Radio CD player with Ipod connectivity. There are hand made curtains that will be included with the van. Bertie comes with 12 months MOT. There is also a cover for the vehicle purchased from Just Kampers worth approx £100 that would come with the vehicle. The curtains that come with the van where hand made by me.
The van is TAX EXEMPT TOO added bonus.
We have a full history of most the previous owners and details of what they had done to the vehicle.
The following work was carried out by Just Dubz VW specialists in June:-
welding to lower inner front panel
welding to o/s front tub section
welding to inner front arch
New front and rear seatbelts fitted
Fitted new Exhaust
under-seal/ waxoyl to the whole underside
Fitted new pop top clips inside
removed the engine, steam cleaned it to remove all oil residue....stripped it down and replaced all the old gaskets, push rod tubes, oil seals, inc main oil seal and gearbox seal and then rebuilt it and refitted into van.
The front seats are originals and are in need of some tlc, we do have foam for the back seats but we tend to cover them with fitted sheets when we use the van, so they can be taken off and cleaned.
