Condition very good, it has an unusual crinkle painted finish which appears to be original.I have seen this type of finish only once before, on a U-Boat "fat" 8x60, which I sold on ebay a few years ago.
Optically quite good, the collimation is perfect and the lenses are scratch-free with undamaged coatings.
Internally there is a scattering of light fungus on prisms and the inside of one objective lens.Also a yellowing to the edge of one prism which can only be seen on reverse viewing.
Reasonably bright viewing, but would be much improved with a professional clean.
There is a straight vertical sighting line in the right side.
The filter mechanism works well, although the control knob on the right side lever is missing, as is the right side internal yellow filter.
Nice smooth focusing and the rubber eyecups rotate correctly.
Looks like it's been copied from one of anoraksia's old eBay listings, the picture's been watermarked!
