I attended a service call regards the truck had run out of gas and would not start! I checked to identify no compression and obivously overheating. Stripped unit to find head gasket gone and head cracked, cold water had been used to keep topped up. Subsequently found out JCB dealer fitted head gasket 6 weeks prior to failure and told customer truck required head skim, but customer would not spend money to carry out. Prior to engine failure, truck operated well. All parts as it should be, rear window however was unfortunately broken in transit. Please contact me regards any other questions on this truck.
