When it comes to high-end Professional photography one name
leaps out above all others. That word is of course Leica. Since
it's introduction nearly 80 years ago there cameras have feet in the hand like
no other. It is a joy just hold one. There rangefinder system has
barely changed since its introduction. "If it ain't broke don't fix
it" is adage people say about the Leica but through out it's years they
did add little things, but it didn't fix it it simply made the Leica a better
camera. The optics are untouchable. Nothing comes close so I won't try.
35mm chromes can be enlarged almost as much as medium format chromes the optics
are just that good. Og course LEica has the R series and SLR line that is great
as well as the range finders. However the digital age came along the dark
room was becoming the digital dark room and no one new what Leica's approach
would be. And Guns blazing the threw the S2 at us a 37.5MP medium format camera
that looked and was only slightly larger than other 35mm with half the power.
Once in hand your heart melts Leica had done it again it fits perfectly like an
extension of your arm and you don't want to put down. This is a very bold
statement to make, but in my opinion the Leica S2-P is the finest camera around
it just fits and it just works. It simply does what it's supposed to. A
bit about the camera you may bid on. It is brand new so brand new it is still
in the shipping carton never opened and NO!! I won't open it. That's like
saying if you drive my brand new car cross country it's still new. I acquired
it rom a mentor, a very famous photographer who shall remain nameless although
I will say he took Richard Avedon's place in the world of photography. He
gets all sorts of Film, software, camera, and swag to to help companies with
sponsorship. You obviously get everything in the title. As far a
settlement is concerned I prefer not to use this sites preferred method PP I
can but the tend to screw me over. I would like to accept P.C. or C.C. if
you can't figure those out message me. I think that covers it best camera ever,
as BRAND NEW as NEW gets, amazing optics. I list the specs here. Only serious
inquiries and don't win the auction and then ask a bunch of question if you
have question ask them before the end of the auction so this can be as smooth

In amongst that gibberish it states that "It is brand new so brand new it is still in the shipping carton never opened and NO!! I won't open it". Does that look like a sealed box to you?

another one is "There rangefinder system has barely changed since its introduction" except its a Leica S (SLR mirror) not a rangefinder (M). I bidded and reported about 15 of these scams when I was on the hunt for an S2 like this one. There was no response but eventually the last 2 e-bay stopped. I managed to find the name address and company phone number of one of the sleeps and gave him a polite call but he said he was "selling it on behalf of someone else". Reported him to the police and companies house. Nothing is done though as it continues.
