Copy of genuine eBay item 280991627903. Already "sold" for £1,550, now relisted to snare someone else. Fraud report ignored by eBay (again) who are now responsible for the loss of a further £1,370.

  1. Funnily enough I was a watcher of the original kit listed above. Smelt a rat as it ws the same pictures but different location. Asked seller about this and he said it ws relisted due to non payment! He obv moved from Woking to Cardiff in between listings :-)

  2. eBay are pretty lax when it comes to stopping a lot of these scams. I've even taken to using multiple accounts so that they get multiple scam reports!

This blog is mainly used as a database to store previous scam pictures, text and item numbers for presentation to eBay as backup evidence in future fraudulent listing reports, even that isn't enough sometimes. I had a corker of a line from one of their Live Chat agents, "sure, it might be fake" as he refused to take action, but unfortunately I didn't receive a copy of the transcript by email (they usually send one) otherwise I'd post it here.
